A Youth Takes Bath in 1.5 Litres of Water

Water scarcity is one of the major global problems which threat all human beings. Various organizations were conducting campaigns and exhibitions to create awareness among the public, to stop wasting water. Recently an organization conducted an exhibition in Coimbatore to demonstrate rainwater harvesting to the public under the theme “Little drops make an ocean”. A youth named Govindraj became the center of attraction to the entire crowd in that exhibition by finishing his bath in just 1.5litres of water. The 26 year old Govindraj applied soap and shampoo twice in this 1.5 liters water bath.

This youth who is a shepherd from the village of severe water scarcity ended his school education in 5th standard itself.Daily he grazes his goats from early morning to evening 7pm covering the distance of nearly 30 km. Every day he carries food materials and small amount of water with him for drinking and all other purposes. After using the water for drinking and all other purposes at the end of the day he regularly takes bath with the remaining amount of water. Gradually he made it as a routine. That’s how he learned the habit of taking bath with limited amount of water. Through his limited water bath now he instructs the public to stop water wasting, in order to save our globe from severe water scarcity.

It might seems as an impossible and uncomfortable task for us to follow and accept such kind of bath for our well being, but it is possible for us to stop water wasting in all other ways to save our globe from water scarcity.

Download Indian currency symbol Font

Recently government of India unveiled a new international symbol representing its currency, the rupee. The design was chosen in a competition won by a teacher Uday Kumar at one of the country's Indian Institutes of Technology. Uday Kumar's design was chosen from a shortlist of five and he was awarded around Rupees 2.5 lakhs (approximately£3,500) in prize money. The symbol is a blend of the Devanagari ‘ra’ and the Roman capital ‘R’ without the stem. The parallel lines at the top (with white space between them) make an allusion to the tricolor Indian flag and also depict an equality sign which symbolizes the nation's desire to reduce economic disparity. Foradian Tecnnologies has developed a font to help the computer users to type Indian currency symbol using computer key board. They have chosen the grave ascent key (a key just above the tab key in our key board) for typing the rupee symbol using key board. Font can be downloaded from Foradian Technologies website for free of cost. To download the font and to know about how to use instructions visit this link http://blog.foradian.com/.

Intellectuals are made by Fools

Imagine the world without fools. Easily we might conclude world will be much better if there is no fools. Before concluding our self we must think about our world’s greatest innovations and achievements. Each achievements and innovations happens because some one in some way is been fooled by that innovation related matter prior to that innovations. When one Individual is been fooled in one situation, his co-individuals and surroundings were aware about that particular situation and they will perform and behave in a manner in which they are not being fooled by that similar situation or event. Such kind of awareness and planned performances will result in innovations and achievements. So we call those individuals as intellectuals in those situations. So called intellectual handled that situation differently because he is aware and cautious about the exact mistake made by the fooled person. If so called intellectuals could have been exposed to that situation prior to fooled person, he also might have been fooled by doing similar mistakes. All intellectuals learn from his and his co-individuals fooled experiences and they rectify the mistakes, which makes them to perform better. So behind the success of each intellectuals their must be one fooled person who helped the intellectual to aware about certain mistakes.
