PHILIPPINE-HEALTHNET
Philippine-Healthnet is a nonprofit, nongovernment, apolitical, virtual organization of E-Volunteers. E-volunteers are online contributors who are willing to assist in building this network of health knowledge.
VISION
It is envisioned that the generated data shall be beneficial to eighty percent (80%) of Filipinos worldwide and to other international visitors. Thereby, enhancing the accessibility of health care providers in the Philippines vis-a-vis encouraging more E-Volunteers to be proactive in virtual health care assistance and real community service.
MISSION
Considering the task in alleviating the Philippine health situation at the virtual level, the following needs to be done: (1) Suggest or provide articles, photos, journals and advice needed to upgrade this community (2) Link relevant blogs or websites (3) Regularly update the virtual community of E-volunteers regarding upcoming events (4) Encourage others to be an E-Volunteer.
